Egan Camp & Retreat Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. Egan Camp & Retreat Center is a ministry of OK Camps and the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly when you call, email, or complete a printed registration or reservation form: your name, mailing address, email address, mobile phone number, and the camper or guest details needed to process a registration or reservation. We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this site, such as IP address and browser type, to keep it secure and working.

How we use it

To process registrations and reservations; to communicate with you about your stay or your camper; to send program and event information you asked to receive; to answer your questions; and to meet our legal and safety obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

Egan Camp & Retreat Center collects mobile phone numbers only from guests who agree to receive SMS communications, such as booking details, on-site logistics, or safety and emergency notices. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or reply HELP for assistance. No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Information may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf and solely to support the messaging program — for example our messaging platform provider — and those providers may not use it for any other purpose.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — registration, payment processing, email and text delivery — and only as needed to perform that service; when required by law or legal process; or to protect the safety of a camper, guest, or staff member.

Children’s privacy

Because we serve youth programs, camper information is collected from a parent or legal guardian, not from the child. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Retention and security

We keep information as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, and safety-record requirements, then dispose of it securely. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices
