Program description

By opting in you agree to receive text messages from Egan Camp & Retreat Center about your registration or reservation, schedule and weather changes, arrival and departure logistics, and camp announcements.

How to opt in

Consent is collected offline. Check and initial the SMS consent box on a printed registration or reservation form, or give consent verbally to camp office staff when you book by phone. The consent language reads: “Yes, text me. I agree to receive text messages from Egan Camp & Retreat Center about my registration, schedule changes and camp announcements at the mobile number I provided above. Message and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency may vary. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms are at campegan.org. Consent is not a condition of registration.” There is no web opt-in form on this site. Consent is not a condition of registration or of any purchase.

Message frequency

Frequency varies — roughly 2–6 messages per month, more during the week of a scheduled stay or when an urgent schedule or weather change affects you.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Egan Camp & Retreat Center does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier’s plan rates apply.

How to opt out

Reply STOPto any message. You’ll get one confirmation message and then nothing further. You can also contact (918) 456-6489 or info@campegan.org to be removed.

Carriers and delivery

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Handled under our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
